Well, my Christmas wish is complete. I can’t even tell you what an amazing morning I had watching these kids go through the over 250 pairs of shoes that they collected with The Woodlands Christian Academy’s National Honor Society and PROject Christ. They conscientiously put the shoes in pairs, placed them in blessing bags and tied Christmas ribbons around the handles. We then delivered them to Sonrise Community Church in downtown Houston. The look on Pastor Buford‘s face and the teens that greeted us at the door was so heartfelt. They were super polite, kind and appreciative.
All of the teens from Sonrise and NHS worked together unloading the bags then high-fived each other at the end.

Our shoe drive is not over! Anything collected between now and the end of the month will be donated to Haven for Hope in San Antonio, Texas.
