Today, I received my acceptance offer to Texas Tech’s PA program located in Midland, TX. I applied to PA school 4 times and although I didn’t get in as soon as I would’ve liked, the idea of giving up never crossed my mind. Each year, I was offered interviews and even waitlisted at a few programs, which proved to me that I was capable of getting accepted. On Monday 2/17 at my interview, I was told that the school received over 1800 applications and only 230 people were interviewed.

Out of the 230 interviewees, 60 students were accepted. I give all thanks to God! I would’ve given up if it wasn’t for Him… A huge thank you to Le CYR for helping me with my interviews (my weakness), shadowing and volunteer opportunities and personally investing in my future! And thank you to the rest of my family and friends who believed in me and encouraged me!

Mrs. Cyr… a woman that has been like a second mother to me… has taught me grace and diligence and how a true woman should dress and hold herself, besides my own mother of course. I first met Mrs. Cyr after I graduated high school, since then she has helped and guided me through my college experience and because of her help, support, guidance and love, I am a First-Generation graduate. To many people that might not seem like a big deal, but if anyone has been raised in a family where education hasn’t been their foundation or a priority for having a better future, then you will know how hard and foreign things are when you are applying to schools and for scholarships and just anything in general regarding college (i.e. you are completely lost and don’t know where to begin because you have no help or guidance).

Mrs. Cyr has taught me a very important lesson in life, “in order to break the cycle you must do it through education.” Mrs. Cyr also taught me things that I would have never thought to learn such as how to start a business, marketing, accounting, how to talk to professionals and even interviewing. Mrs. Cyr has given me many reasons to be thankful to her every day and with all the opportunities she has given me, I decided to go back to school to pursue a different degree (BBA in Cyber Security) that I would have never thought of getting.

I am proud, blessed and thankful to where I am in life, and I would have never thought I would be where I am right now. Thank you for helping me through this journey… I don’t think I could ever express my gratitude for everything y’all have done for me.

Le CYR Consulting has been so instrumental in my life and my career! Roughly 10 years ago, from the day that I met the Cyr’s, they’ve guided and supported me, tremendously, at the start of my career as a Registered Nurse. I’ve had many conversations with them, regarding the advancement of my career, and with their guidance, I finished my Masters in Nursing, specializing as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
